  • LEADERS

    • Mary M. Field, P.E., M.S., President

      Mary has a broad range of experience in environmental engineering and management and has been qualified as an expert witness in regulatory affairs.  She possess considerable experience in the areas of developing, planning, and implementing wetland delineations and permitting,  Spill and stormwater control plans, compliance management and training, solid waste management, air quality management, and water quality/wastewater treatment.  She is responsible for oversight of civil engineering design work at the firm.  Mary is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Louisiana and received her B.S. and M.S. of civil and environmental engineering from Louisiana State University. FunFact: Mary is an expert renaissance festival participant and can sew up any costume for RenFest in 48 hours.

    • Stephen D. Field, Ph.D., P.E., Engineering Manager

      Vice President & Director of Technical Operations Stephen is responsible for oversight of all engineering projects and Research and Development efforts. As Director of Engineering for CCI, he is responsible for projects encompassing biological treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, groundwater assessment, fate and transport of contaminants, wastewater treatment process optimization, permit application development, and air quality permits. Stephen is a licensed engineer in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. He received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University. FunFact: Steve is an home-brewer of many types of beer, and he and his daughter often brew together!

  • KEY STAFF

    • Karen E. Field, Ph.D., Technical/Scientific Analyst/Writer

      Karen is our scientific data reduction analyst, and is responsible for statistical all analyses including Quality Assurance/Quality Control analyses, as well as technical writing. In addition, she assists in biological assessment of project sites. Karen received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, with a specialty in neurophysiology from Louisiana State University in 2018. FunFact: Karen was a certified trainer of seals and sea lions in Northern California (and can tell you all the differences between seals and sea lions).

    • Ashley Leggitt, D.V.M., Environmental Scientist

      Ashley is responsible for project execution as well as data collection and analysis. She received her B.S in Animal Science in 2006 from Louisiana Tech University and her D.V.M. in 2010 from Louisiana State University. Her expertise includes biological assessments, wetland delineations and permitting, threatened and endangered species, and Phase I and Phase II assessments. FunFact: Ashley is the proud mother of four chihuahuas.

    • Cory Rogers, designer/environmental technician

      Cory is our Environmental technician II and AutoCad specialist. Cory’s expertise includes preparing site locations, boundary details, elevations, drainage flow patterns, mapping wetland impacts, documents in support of USACOE and DNR premits, and housing layouts. Cory is also responsible sampling and monitoring activities of sub-surface wells being monitored with RCRA guidelines. He received is A.A. in Applied Sciences in 2018 from B.R.C.C. FunFact: Cory is a self-proclaimed international man of mystery and bladesmith.

    • Dixie Gregory, Office Manager

      Dixie is the administrative manager, responsible for documentation and organization of projects. She has over 30 years of experience in professional management. FunFact: Dixie is a certified paralegal, notary public, and has lived in three countries on two different continents. She also studied political geography!
